NZTS, led by Rossendale Valley Energy with Rossendale Borough Council, Centre for Energy Equality, Community Energy England and other partners, is developing a modular, scalable, community-led initiative to decarbonise some of the UK’s hardest-to-treat homes.
The project focuses on the six million pre-1919 terraces that define many of our towns and cities, aiming to deliver low-carbon, affordable, and healthy warm homes at no up-front cost to householders through coordinated, street-by-street retrofit and investment in infrastructure.
This session will explore how the Techno-Economic Model and Financial Model are being developed to assess the technical and financial feasibility of large-scale, whole-street retrofit, and how these tools will help attract and blend investment to replicate and scale future delivery.
It will also highlight opportunities for partners and investors to collaborate on the early development stages of our 200-home pilot clusters in Rossendale, Bridgend, and Greater Manchester, starting soon.
